We specialise in producing free range poultry, all our birds are reared to the highest standards of avian husbandry and we have implemented strict disease control measures across our breeding stocks and hatchery. We rear free range egg producing hybrid chickens, Bronze Turkeys, Goslings and Ducklings.

YBP is one of the only poultry hatcheries in the North of England, our aim is to supply hardy utility poultry that produces excellent results for the farmer, smallholder and poultry enthusiast alike.

Our Geese are reared in grass paddocks where they roam freely, grazing on fresh pasture, supplemented with the a quality mix of cereals, completely free from all chemical additives.

Our land is maintained in the traditional way and without the use of any herbicides, pesticides or other chemicals. This benefits both the local countryside as well as the stock we raise. The goose droppings left on the ground after the geese have grazed an area of pasture provides excellent natural organic fertilizer which aids in producing more lush green pasture when the grass grows back.

We are the only small scale producer to supply quality free range point of lay pullets, Bronze turkeys, geese and hatching eggs in the Yorkshire region. We offer free local delivery on larger orders with special discounts available on all orders of 150 or more birds.
