Our free range Geese lead a first class lifestyle from start to finish. Our day old goslings hatch from April until late July. Our day old goslings are sold to smallholders and farmers across Yorkshire and even as far North as Fife!. When they arrive at their new homes they hey fatten slowly for at least six months, ready for Michalmas in September and for that special Christmas Goose family meal.
Our Goslings are from our flock of specially selected heavy strain Embden geese, we also have Toulouse geese in with our flock as these cross to produce excellent heavy geese. Our Goslings finish at weights from 4 - 6.5kgs under traditional husbandry methods and with correct feeding.
As the only Goose Hatchery and small scale poultry breeder in Yorkshire we strive to produce the highest quality Goslings, supplied direct to farms right across the region. We are offering free local delivery on orders of 150 of more. Contact us now to order your 09 Goslings.

Our Goslings are kept indoors on Barley Straw for the first two weeks of their lives. They are fed on a compound diet of cereals and are given chopped grass as extra roughage. We use both Gas and Electric Brooder Lamps to keep our Goslings warm and we raise the lamps up as they grow.

When our Goslings reach two-weeks old we open the pop holes on our brooder houses and allow them to range on fresh pasture. We use electric fencing to keep predators away so our Geese can graze in safety.
Once our Goslings start grazing it is surprising how quickly they grow and begin to feather up. Once they reach five-weeks old we move the Goslings to their new free range housing and they are rounded up into our large barn so they are safe from foxes and other predators at night.
